A rainy morning in October for breakfast.

Well it was a wet morning for the October breakfast this week but still 14 ladies braved the weather to make it along to the Blue Stone Cafe on Fort Street. Lucky for those who came early the security guard had reserved a few parking spots but others had to make use of their brollies and park a little further away.

When initially booked the ILC had suggested a set fee for breakfast but received some negative feedback on this idea as the menu did offer some cheaper items so separate checks were offered instead.

The menu was varied with everything from granola to omelettes and all manner of coffee options as you would expect. So hopefully most people found something they enjoyed. The acoustics did mean the venue was a little noisy but it is always a difficulty when you have large numbers of people at a breakfast or lunch being able to get around the tables and speak with everyone you would like to.

We are always open to receiving feedback on venue's and menu's and if you have suggestions of places we can try then please feel free to contact us.

Our next dine out venue will be Bacaro where we are meeting for lunch on the 17th October. Details have gone out via email to all members. Please visit the events page of the website to RSVP.
